It’s midday over here while our participants from across the ocean are getting ready for bed or are already sleeping.
Saturday night’s twitter party went well with us trending again!

Blog Linkies
One thing we talked about is what memes and linkies we use for blog promotion. For those new to this sort of thing, generally one blog hosts it and they usually have a theme of some kind. Each linky has it’s own rules but generally you do a related post on the theme and add it to the linky (like you did when you signed up). Then you visit some of the other participants posts and comment.
MondayListicles – each week a theme is given for the next week. Make a list post using the current week’s theme and link up your post.
Wordless Wednesday – showcase an image (no theme), usually a photo you took yourself. Even though it says Wordless, you can add words, and in fact should do so as posts les than 250 words don’t get indexed by Google.
Saturday Sharefest at SITS Girls – Share a recent post via linky and comment. SITS is technically aimed at women but there aren’t any rules about only women participating. They also have a twitter party to go with it.
Friendship Friday – from blogathon participant Create With Joy. Share a post on the week’s theme.
Inspire Me Monday – Another from Create With Joy. Share what inspires you and/or share your creative projects.
It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? – share your current read. Also if you comment on more than 10 other posts, you can comment and be entered to win a $5 amazon GC.

Watch For It
Coming up very soon is a post where we can share our social media profiles and connect with each other.

My name is Kathleen Garber and I love blogging and social media. I've been blogging on and off since 2003 and this blog is just one of many that I run.

Amazing :) Thanks for these links and the tips! This weekend was so much fun!!
Another linky I forgot about is called Pour Your Heart Out Wednesday from Things I Can't Say. Another blogger I seriously envy. http://thingsicantsay.com/
And Just Write (Tuesdays) is another linky on http://extraordinary-ordinary.net/
Cassandra's tip about not changing blog files is definitely a keeper! I've broken my blog before. Luckily, my mom is my tech person. I call her to fix it for me! I never, ever, ever go near my custom php file in Thesis on my own anymore. Ever. Ever ever. Only bad can come of that for me!
