Blogging Tips and Support For Those Whose Blog IS Their Business

Winter Blogathon Wrapup

I hope you are having a good time at the blogathon. I’m excited for summer already, how about you?

I hope the blogathon helps you get organized and ready for a new blogging year. For those new bloggers who are just getting started, I hope this weekend inspires you to keep going. Who knows, by the next blogathon, maybe you’ll be well established.

The Next Blogathon is…..

June 21-24, 2013

You can expect signups to start around 6 weeks before or so, but to be notified of when signups open and news on the blogathon, make sure to sign up for the Building Better Blogs newsletter (which also has valuable blogging information.)

I’m aiming for better prizes, more mini challenges including more that work for an advanced blogger and other fun stuff. I’m also thinking of hosting a #blogathon2 twitter chat biweekly or monthly throughout the year to chat about blogging topics.

Testimonials

I’m always looking for testimonials for the blogathon so if you want to give me a quote about the blogathon to go on my testimonials page, email me at blogathonbash@cogeco.ca

F.A.Q.

Before the next blogathon I want to make a Frequently Asked Questions as some people still were confused on how things work. If you were confused about a specific aspect of the blogathon, whether you are still or not, please send me an email at blogathonbash@cogeco.ca with your question so I can see if it should be included in the FAQ. Thanks.

Wrap Up

It’s not required but if you updated your kick off post with your progress or you want to do a wrap up post on what you got accomplished, you can link it up below.

Feedback

Lastly, please make sure you fill in the feedback survey for two extra chances to win prizes and to help me make future blogathons better.

What Else?

I will tallying and picking winners Monday afternoon and as soon as I have it figured out, I will post the winners to the blog and email the winners directly as well. I know you are all dying to know who won and I’ll be as quick as I can but it takes a while.

  1. Thanks so much for hosting another great Blogathon Bash! I am looking forward to the next one (my fourth!), and I would love to help out as much as I can. If you need a cohost for the next, let me know! I'm also thinking of some mini-challenges I can host on my new blogging site!!

  2. Thank you for hosting this fabulous event, Kathleen.
The first one I attended was great – and this one was even better!

    Enjoy the wrap-up. :-)

  3. Thanks for hosting this wonderful event Kathleen. This was the first one I attended, but not the last. Thanks to mini challenge hosts. Your mini challenges were great and excellent.

This morning I feel roughly like I did after completing a 30K walkathon back in the day. Bone-tired, but accomplished!

  5. As always The event was a lot of fun and I learn some things while hanging out here. I tried two challenges and meet two new bloggers. Thanks for hosting this party. The goals I set this weekend where accomplished ,1 joined two mini challenges

  6. Thanks so much for hosting the blogathon, Kathleen! It was a great experience! I liked having the option of updating our kick-off post. Otherwise, it can seem to be a bit redundant. And I liked having a few days to recover first!

I'm always amazed at how much can be accomplished with a few truly focused days. And I love improving my blogging skills with the mini challenges. I'm already looking forward to the Summer 2013 Blogathon! :)
